If the UK is to meet its renewable energy targets, rapid growth and investment in renewable technology and components is required to build the infrastructure we need.

The UK must integrate circular models into all aspects of our renewable energy infrastructure. Reducing the demand from volatile supply chains, keeping valuable materials in use for longer and helping reduce environmental impacts from extracting raw materials.

This session will take a deeper look and compare the benefits of focusing on recycling or longer lifetimes of renewables infrastructure.

The session will host a balanced panel with academic, business and policy/civic representation, including wind, solar, EV.

Are you studying in the UK and considering your steps for employment after completing your course? Join this Green Careers Hub webinar to find out more about the process of finding and securing a role in the UK, as well as hearing advice from somebody who has been through it themselves.

During this online session, we'll hear from Robert Young, Advice and Training officer at the UK Council for International Student Affairs (UKCISA) and Alex Mar Morales, a Consultant at Cundall and MSc graduate of Sustainability and Environmental Studies at the University of Strathclyde.

Robert will open the session by providing an overview of work rights after study and the different routes that you might take. He'll highlight some of the main considerations when applying for roles in the UK and answer some common questions from students and recent graduates. Alex will then talk about his own personal experiences; how he found his role, any barriers he faced and his own advice for recent graduates looking for a role in the UK. He'll also reference his day-to-day role now and his passion for the sector.

We'll provide links to useful resources and there'll be plenty of time for questions.
